Srinagar, March 26: To bring happiness to nearly 7 lakh regional government officials, Madhya Pradesh Prime Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan recently announced that the DA would increase by 11 percent on par with the central government. Chouhan said the provincial government had decided to increase the DA’s public service grant (DA) by 31 percent which would start in April. Earlier the DA in the provincial government was 20%.
Because of the coronavirus, Chouhan said the government would not be able to raise the DA for public servants. However, after the announcement now, payment of the amount will be made from April.
The prime minister added that the government would provide Rs 25,000 to female students under the Lady Laxmi program for college admission. He said other programs would continue in the state. The State Government will also provide Rs 25,000 to female students under the Lady Laxmi program when they are admitted to college. In January, the Haryana regional government announced a 31% increase in Dearness Relief payments to Haryana government pensioners and family pensioners from July 1, 2021.
“The Governor of Haryana is pleased to increase the Dearness Allowance paid to Haryana government employees, who are paid their salaries according to the 7th Pay system, from the current rate of 28% to 31% of basic salary from July 1, 2021,” the statement said. of the order of the Haryana Treasury Department.
