A one-day workshop on job creation awareness programs organized by J&K KVIB at ITI Hajin, Bandipora on Thursday 30 March.
Drs. Hina Shafi Bhat, Deputy Chairman J & K KVIB, hosted the event. Bandipora Regional Development Commissioner, Senior Officials from J&K KVIB, Officials from District Managers, Officials from ITI Bandipora, and educated youth unemployed / emerging entrepreneurs visiting the Awareness Camp.
Highlighting the strength of the MSME sector in the overall growth, development and prosperity of the community, Drs. Hina Bhat said the MSME sector is the largest employer behind the agricultural sector which provides employment to 50 million people in the country. He further added that UT & # 39; s J&K was given a youth dividend which, if properly planned, could contribute to eliminating unemployment. He informed that in order to facilitate job creation for our full-fledged youth and to uplift the MSME sector, the Central and UT government have introduced various employment creation programs such as the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Program (PMEGP) and the J&K Rural Employment Generation Program ( JKREGP)).
He said the performance of J&K KVIB in implementing these programs was applauded at the National Standard and said that over the past three years an estimated Rs. 377.18 crores have been allocated to establish 16724 units thus creating 128022 jobs in the Kashmir Division under JKREGP and PMEGP. Dy. Chief Executive Officer KVIB-Kashmir has announced that the programs used by J&K KVIB namely. JKREGP and PMEGP are online and it is important for prospective entrepreneurs and stakeholders to come forward and receive financial assistance under these units to establish their units.
