The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Scheme was introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2019 for farmers of India. The main objective of the scheme is to provide a support and aid to farmers who own a cultivable land.
According to the scheme, an amount of Rs 6000 per year will be credited in the bank accounts of farmers. The amount will be credited in 3 to 4 installments of Rs 2000. In a financial year, the farmers receive PM Kisan installments 3 times in three periods. Period 1 is from April to July; Period 2 from August to November; and Period 3 from December to March.
Recently, the PM Kisan 11th Installment was credited to the farmers on 31 May 2022. An amount of Rs 21,000 crore was credited into the bank accounts of almost 10 crore farmer beneficiaries.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 17 October 2022 inaugurate the PM Kisan Samman Sammelan 2022 (PM Kisan Samman Sammelan) at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute in New Delhi. More than 13 thousand farmers and about one thousand five hundred agricultural startups from across the country have participated in the conference. More than one crore farmers from various institutions also be virtually connected to this program. Researchers, policy makers and other stakeholders in also be present in the conference.
During this two-day PM Kisan Samman Sammelan 2022 event, PM Modi distributed Rs 16,000 crore to the PM Kisan beneficiaries via Direct Benefit Transfer.
According to a PIB tweet, “PM Narendramodi releases the 12th instalment of Rs. 16,000 crores under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) through Direct Benefit Transfer.”
PM KISAN 12th installment 2022: Here is how to check your name in the new beneficiary list
- Visit official PM KISAN website https://pmkisan.gov.in/ Portal
- You will see the map of India under Payment Success tab.
- On the right hand side, there will be a yellow coloured tab called “Dashboard”
- Click on Dashboard
- After clicking, you will be taken to a new page
- On the Village Dashboard tab, you will have to fill your complete details
- Select the state, district, Sub-District and Panchayat
- Then click on show button
- After this you can choose your details.
