India’s Ravindra Jadeja and Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan are on the verge of becoming the leading wicket-takers in the history of the Asia Cup.
Sri Lanka’s Lasith Malinga currently leads the table with 33 scalps from 15 matches at an economy rate of 4.70. Bangladesh captain Shakib has taken 24 wickets from 18 matches at an economy rate of 5.05. He needs 10 wickets to surpass the former Sri Lanka pacer.

On the other hand, Ravindra Jadeja has 22 Asia Cup wickets and needs 12 more to become the highest wicket-taker in the tournament.
India’s campaign in the Asia Cup 2022 will start against Pakistan on August 29.
Bangladesh will play against Afghanistan on August 30.
