The fourth Covid wave is not likely for J&K: Dr. Nisar-ul-Hassan
‘Increased Covid cases in China, other countries do not worry’
Srinagar, Mar 23 : Senior medical and flu specialist, Dr Nisar ul Hassan on Wednesday said Covid-19 cases rising in China and other countries were not a concern and that Jammu and Kashmir were less likely to see a fourth wave. of a deadly virus.
Dr Nisar, who is also president of the Kashmir Medical Association, told the Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that there had been a huge increase in cases of Covid-19 in China and in other countries such as Hongkong, South Korea, but that is still the case. not a cause for concern about Jammu and Kashmir as in China, people are affected by the Omicron diversity.
Omicron has created a third wave at J&K, which is over and in fact, it is possible for Covid to move from epidemic to epidemic phase, he said.
“Omicron infects almost everyone here, which happened to benefit people because it was soft.
Covid will stay with us like other respiratory viruses and will not cause waves now as it did in the past, ”he said, adding that he had settled with Omicron and was now in a critical condition.
“There are speculations about the fourth wave but most experts believe that modeling is just speculation and I strongly believe in vaccinations and environmental vaccines, it is very unlikely that we will have a fourth wave now,” he said.
“It is very unlikely that Omicron will be replaced by any other alternative and there may be soft changes but not to the extent that we will have surgery as we have seen in the past,” he said.
